Cards and Sabres

The cards got me last night.  I relied too heavily on Glavine's strong performace thus far and took a -5 to bust a big chunk out of BetUSA.  Unfortunately the chunk in BetUSA is now bigger than ever.  At least the Sabres came through for me last night.  I didn't have near as much on them, though, but they did mitigate the reversal to a certain degree.

I was also happy to see that BetUSA was still taking my bets.  I like using that book, but that may be because I have busted there so much over the past 4-5 weeks.

I must confess my mortal sin, though.  I failed to get any bets down on last Sunday's NFL line-up.  I got back from Germany about 0100 on Sunday morning, and slept until about 0900.  Spent the morning with the family, which is all good, but then I had time to get on the computer and go over the lines before the 1300 games, but I didn't.  I got boresighted on the BullsBetting upgrade, and missed my chance.  Then I was taking a jet lag nap and missed the 1615 games, too.  D'Oh!  I spent Monday trying to figure out what went wrong with the site upgrade, and didn't check the Monday night line either.  What a total loser I am.

Note to self, and others.  Don't check your Neteller account when you are traveling.  I tried to log in and check it when I was in Germany and it triggers an anti-hacking auto-lock on your account.  A phone call to Neteller security straightened it out fairly quickly, but it was a needless hassle.  I was just curious (looking for my Sportbet/Island payment) and didn't really need to log in.  If you are going to travel and need to log in, you can call them in advance and activate your account for whatever country you will be in.
