Wandering in the Barren Wasteland of UIGEA

I have only made one sports bet since Pinnacle closed its doors to Americans.  I had a pending freebet at Skybook and I put it on the Bears moneyline to win at +210.  So, GO Bears!  Although, if it wins, I don't know how I will cash it out.

The news went from bad to worse.  After Pinnacle fell, Neteller also went away.  Then nearly every other deposit option closed it's doors to Americans.  I am still waiting on about $14K in payouts from Neteller, Pinnacle and Bodog.  I have money in Skybook that I have not tried to withdraw yet (been playing a little poker there) and money in CaribSports where I still owe some rollover.  It seems like some deposit options are available here and there, but I want all my money home in the bank before I start trying out some of these other deposit options.  I can barely keep track of the status of everything as it is.  I don't need any more confusion or uncertainty.

I firmly believe that more deposit options will become available for Americans.  There is simply too much money involved for someone not to rise to the occasion and try to earn some of it.  Capitalism will prevail.  Until then, I am keeping the poweder dry.  And I'll probably play some poker!

Farewell Skybook

I burned it.  Too bad, I was enjoying that book, and I made a good bit of coin from them in December, but I reloaded $500 and now that I've met rollover my account is at $6500+.  UGH.  Just....just...just....UGH!  I went 7 of my last 8 bets breaking into Skybook.  They must think I am some kind of frigging genius.  Surprised

I am not sure where I am going next.  I have a few prospects, and, depending on the cashout speed at Skybook, I may have a few days to think about it.  I put in for a cashout this morning, having finished it off last night, so I will let you know how speedy they are with returning my cash.  I still have a $500 freeplay there at Skybook, too, so I can't be done with them altogether.

I am still working on a CaribSports reload, too.  I am up a bit there, but I suspect I can get some good NCAA lines there during the week and play it through soon.  Hopefully I will bust back down.  They have been quick with the reloads when my account is empty.

Man, I was looking at NCAA moneylines last night and I saw a 25 point arb (-330/+355) between Carib and Pinney.  I took too long figuring out how much I could cover at Pinney (balance was low there as its all in Skybook) before I got my bet in at Carib (probably 90 seconds) and the line changed at Carib to -400.  Bummer.  Now its just another fish story:  the one that got away...

Long Time No See

Yes, I remember that I have some blogs.  It is unfortunate that there never seems to be time to write in them lately.  More than a month since my last post.  A sure sign that my life has been hectic.

Gosh, so what's happened in the past month?

Sports betting wise, I am out of Las Palmas.  I went for the full $500 bonus there and ended up winning a few big bets on underdogs early in that chase.  For that (I think) I got collared - the max bet I could make was for $250.  I still had around $6K in rollover and I can't make a bet over $250.  Grrrrr.  Fortunately I was allowed to withdraw winnings.  Unfortunately they have a $2,500/month max on free withdrawals.  After that it costs $20.

I made about $3-$4K more in bets, then I decided to call them and find out what my exact remaining rollover was, and they told me I could just cash out.  I think they were sick of me, and glad to be rid of that sharp!  Ha!

I have since moved on to Skybook and CaribSports.  I had a great December at Skybook.  They offered multiple reload (freeplay) bonuses, and I was constantly busting out, so in position to take advantage of each one.  The last one was a 100% to $500 reload at 8X.  I am now on a winning streak there, so with more than 4X of rollover remaining, I am likely to miss out on any relaods coming out in the near future.  I am enjoying CaribSports well enough.  I am on my second reload (third bonus) there.  I keep losing, and they keep making me offers.  Gotta love that!

Working on a few things for the site.  Always busy!
