Has it really been 8 months since I've blogged?
Wow! I suck!
A quick and dirty catch up:
UIGEA bites and has taken a huge bite out of me on sports betting. Moving money around is PAINFUL. Just painful. I was using Ecocard for a while, but after the Neteller settlement they dedcided to abandon the sportsbooks. The only options left are high fee pre-paid cards, Western Union, Moneygram, and a few book-specific mechanisms. (If someone nows of another way, please let me know!)
I chased the HELL out of Caribsports for a few months. They were doing 15% reloads on Ecocard deposits and I hit them for over $1,500 in bonus money before finally burning them. I even dumped a bit of cash trying to un-burn them but I was on one of those benders where I could not miss no matter how big an underdog I had at Carib.
I did a rare SIA reload and Bookmaker, too. I wanted to do a 25% to $500 Bookmaker reload but my work schedule made it impossible. I may hit their CS after I get back from an upcoming field exercise to see if I can get something.
I got slaughtered in poker in August. I stopped playing MTTs because I was not having the time and the cash tables ate me up. I was at beatable tables, but just got outdrawn time and again. I am making some mistakes, too. Mostly betting too often into calling stations with A-high hands hoping they would fold. My post-flop aggression numbers look good and mean, but I need to apply that more judiciously.
