A New Bonus Blog

I have added a new "Bonus Blog" to my website.  I have signed up for hundreds of poker, sportsbook and casino accounts as both affiliate and player.  I receive lots of e-mail offers as a result.  I read multiple forums looking for more bonus info.  I subscribe to multiple RSS feeds for bonus information.  I scour the internet looking for more bonus information.  Bottom line: I see a lot of bonus offers.

Most of them are below my threshold for pursuing, so I have been ignoring them.  It occurred to me recently that maybe others would like to see all of this stuff.  So, I set up a Bonus Blog where I can quickly and easily dump content from multiple sources.  Remember, I am just dumping content as I find it - just because it shows up in this blog does NOT imply that I am endorsing the site or their offer.  Its just information sharing.

I am not only adding bonus info, though.  I am also adding affiliate info that I think might be of interest.  (Most gambling sites send out newsletters to their affiliates with special information, incentives, and offers.)

If you're interested, I recommend subscribing to the RSS feed, as it will make the items much more readable.  If you don't have an RSS reader, I recommend using Google Reader - it's easy and free.

Happy Chasing!

Scalping with steam - if only I could do it on purpose!

Better to be lucky than smart I always say. Cool

My goal was to bust out of WagerWeb into SIA last night.  I found a decent -5 on a Hockey puckline Atlanta vs Pittsburgh.  Then I brain-farted and put the bet on Atlanta at both books.  $760 uncovered.  Grrrrrrrrrr.

I also have money at BetOnline, so I checked the line and it was looking like I was going to have to eat a -15 to cover.  It was several hours before game time so I decided to wait and see if I got any favorable line movement before getting my covering bet in at BetOnline.  About an hour before game time the line popped 10 points in my direction so I jumped on it.  Check me out, I'm a steam playa!

Then, Pittsburgh clubbed Atlanta like they were baby fur seals, 5-0.  So, I busted WagerWeb and very nearly SIA also.  (The benefit of busting SIA is that the $50 free bet reimbursement I just received came with a 10X rollover.)  Now I just have to cash out at Betonline.  If that goes well, I will start promoting them here as they have been a decent experience.  The lines are plain, but the initial deposit bonus is pretty good.  They also have the slickest flash casino I have yet played if you like to play $1 blackjack from time to time as I do.

I was so happy that the sports bets worked out last night I was able to survive the $200 thrashing I took from the fish at Cake Poker.   It burns!  It freezes!  Take it off ussssssss!!

Yes, I Still Play Online Poker

Been chasing off the initial deposit bonus at Cake Poker and getting a little rakeback via ITH.  I've been loving Cake Poker because of their refusal to make their hand histories PT compatible.  It keeps the data-assisted mutli-tabling batallions away, and the tables are much more friendly as a result.  I am also on a nice run and showing some pretty fantastic results, being up over $600 in winnings halfway through the chase.

I am disappointed in my MTT results at Cake so far.  I have played in 4 and have not yet cashed.  Not that unsual, except that I think the MTT players are worse than the cash players.  I think my errors are being too aggressive in EP too early in the tournies.  They will not fold and too often I am up against multiple draws meaning there are too many outs available to take me out.  I think I will see better results by throttling back a bit.  I suspect that as the bubble nears the aggression should return, though.  I just haven't made it that far yet.

I have my money in two square sportsbooks right now, so finding a decent scalp is near impossible.  I am going to need to get some money back into Carib or SIA in order to be able to get the bets I need.

Checking out Some New Books

I have been focusing on "new" sports books lately.  New to me anyways, not really new to the internet.  Because these are not the highest ranking books online I want to check them out personally before I offer them on my website.  I have never had anyone outright ripped off by a sportsbook yet, but I have had a few players get slow-payed before and I hate that feeling.  I am not really responsible if a book I recommend rips off a player - caveat emptor, and all - but we are a tight little family over at BullsBetting, so I tend to take it personally.  Ergo....I like to risk my own money in a book first before I promote them on my website.

Unfortunately it is going slowly.  I am churning right now - bouncing the money back and forth between the books instead of busting one or the other.  I even had a +355 dog win for me. Tongue out

My hope is to bust out of the current lot of books by month's end so that I can use my findings to set up another Free Book Offer for joining them.  I know that the extra sportsbook bonuses are necessary to make it worth some players while to fight the cashiering issues in the post-Neteller era.

On the Poker front I am still grinding off the Cake Poker intital deposit bonus - not even half done with that yet.  I got distracted by the ITH Banana Slugs Chop Team fun.  That was  great idea by Toom, and I have been having loads of fun playing some MTTs as a team member.
