The Poker Bonus Chaser's Journal

No break in the clouds on my run of doom.  I got all-in on the flop twice last night with the best hand, and got stacked both times.  Once at PLO, and once at NLHE.  In PLO he hit his 3 outter for the boat, in NLHE he at least had a middle-pair with a flush draw going to call off all his chips with.  Still, donk plays by both villains, and they keep my money.

I wrote an article last October, where I stated my poker winnings (excluding bonus) to that time were a little over $4,700.  Last night put me back below that level.  A 7 month retracement of earnings that began with this slump in February.  It's well over 500 BB now.  It was inconceivable to me just a few months ago that this could ever happen.

May is supposed to be about fun, and last night wasn't it, although if both hands had held up, I'd likely be singing a different tune!  I'll have to figure out where to go next.  With $100 in Party and $120 in Poker Stars bonuses to clear, and good deals going at both right now, I'll be figuring them into my near future.  Just have to figure out how I want to approach them.  I'm also getting an SNG hankering, so I may have a go at some of those as well.  Got a few other sites to try out, also, so there's no lack of possibilities for me.
